The first project brief given to me on my Digital Media Design course was a brief to provide a new digital experience for the visitors to Bristol Zoo. I was put into a team of four and given two weeks to generate a concept for this brief.
We managed to generate a lot of ideas for this brief very quickly as it was so open. A few of them were a QR code footprint trail, a pet simulator and projecting the visitor’s image into pens as a photo opportunity. Although we rejected all these ideas they were very useful to us and a lot of them ended up the final idea.
Over a few hours we managed to whittle down the ideas into a single app, a type of adventure game where you get to collect information and cards on the animals at the zoo.
